Day 47 of hospital bed rest
I'm proud to say the bear is FINISHED!! It took me about 2 hours to finish up the last of the outlining. It really did take up a good chunk of the last few weeks :) I'm very thankful Ray taught me how to cross stitch! I really love it now!!
I went through JP's Pre-K school paperwork this afternoon. Being the mom (like most of you know), it's my job to fill everything out. I still can't believe he's gonna be 3 next month and starting school in September. Then, I started on the first bib pack S got. I got a good chunk started and maybe will finish it tomorrow. It took a little bit to get used to the different needle since it's actually pointy & hurts vs. my blunt needle that I used on the bear. At 5pm, I was suprised when the boys walked through the door! They made it here in 15 minutes even on the holiday! Ray brought me a bunch of goodies including a thimble (YAY for my poor index finger), Mio fruit punch (he just thought I would like it because he loves it -- it is GREAT), & some other "secret" things for me to make for the babies ;-) After he showed me everything, we went straight down to the cafeteria because we were all hungry! I actually saw a guy wearing a Milwaukee Brewers shirt!! He never got close enough, so I could talk to him about it. I did see his girlfriend walk out of the bathroom on our way up to the garden, so I just asked her LOL! He was from Muskego HAHA which isn't far from my hometown of Kenosha. I told her to tell him a lady from Kenosha says HI and GO BREWERS!! When we got up to garden it was just us. We were just talking, etc. Then, I see this worker from the hospital (w/my mom hawk eyes) come outside and bring this "thing" up to his mouth. Immediately, I knew he was SMOKING! On the door to the courtyard it is CLEARLY written NO smoking. I was just staring at him waiting for him to look me in the eyes. Then, I went off on him! This is what I said... " Excuse me! Yea I see you smoking over there. I am pregnant and have a 3 year old with me so please kill yourself on your on time. Not to mention the door clearly reads NO SMOKING. If I ever see you again you will lose your job!" Immediately he stomped it out and ran inside. You mess w/JP and the twins you will get the horns from this mama bull! Ray told JP that's why you don't mess w/mommy! Then, we just continued talking while I was enjoying being outdoors for a bit longer. I was really hoping they were going to stay for the fireworks tonight but alas, JP took no nap. They did look so cute in their american flag shirts & camo shorts -- twins AGAIN! I was just happy they were able to come up to see me. Well it's almost time to get wheeled upstairs w/the other ante partum ladies to see the fireworks.....
Until Tomorrow,
Whitney & The Twins
You go girl!! Way to tell that guy off!
